2.4 mile ocean swim beginning at Long Sands Beach (at the bathhouse on Long Beach Avenue) swimming out to and through "the gut" (the waterway between the peninsula and the Nubble Lighthouse island).  The swim finishes at Short Sands Beach, just off of downtown (York, Maine).
